Living with anyone can be hard, but living with someone who IS A LOT like yourself can be even harder. I totally get where Sylvia is coming from sometimes, because we do think a lot alike. Other times though, I have no idea what she is thinking. I hurt her feelings and don’t mean too. I say something that is misunderstood. We always get past it, but it makes things hard. Thankfully this doesn’t happen very often, and we do work it out. I am sure I do things that drive her nuts too!

Switching Teams 
Same here! The lesbian dynamic can be tough because, well, you’ve got two women and we have that chromosomal commonality. Overall though, don’t you think communication is easier because situations do at least get resolved?
Yes, I do think it is easier, because she and I are willing to talk and work it out. Sylvia has been in relationships in the past with women that didn’t work out and she doesn’t say it but I know she is thinking I am like those other women. I try to assure her that I am not and to not pass judgement on my actions until we talk. I think another big difference is that I do LOVE HER so much that I am willing to meet her half way. With my ex-husband it got to a point where I just didn’t care.
